¹¹Y las multitudes contestaban: Este es el profeta Jesús^(A), de Nazaret de Galilea^(B).

Jesús echa a los mercaderes del templo

¹²^(C)Y entró Jesús en el templo y echó fuera a todos los que compraban y vendían en el templo, y volcó las mesas de los cambistas^(D) y los asientos de los que vendían las palomas^(E). ¹³Y les dijo*: Escrito está: «Mi casa será llamada casa de oración^(F)», pero vosotros la estáis haciendo cueva de ladrones^(G).

¹¹The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet^(A) from Nazareth in Galilee.”

Jesus at the Temple^(B)

¹²Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying^(C) and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers^(D) and the benches of those selling doves.^(E) ¹³“It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’^[a]^(F) but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’^[b]”^(G)
