Schimbarea la faţă
17 După(A) şase zile, Isus a luat cu El pe Petru, Iacov şi Ioan, fratele lui, şi i-a dus la o parte pe un munte înalt. 2 El S-a schimbat la faţă înaintea lor; faţa Lui a strălucit ca soarele şi hainele I s-au făcut albe ca lumina. 3 Şi iată că li s-a arătat Moise şi Ilie stând de vorbă cu El. 4 Petru a luat cuvântul şi a zis lui Isus: „Doamne, este bine să fim aici; dacă vrei, am să fac aici trei colibe: una pentru Tine, una pentru Moise şi una pentru Ilie”. 5 Pe când(B) vorbea el încă, iată că i-a acoperit un nor luminos cu umbra lui. Şi din nor s-a auzit un glas, care zicea: „Acesta(C) este Fiul Meu preaiubit, în(D) care Îmi găsesc plăcerea Mea, de(E) El să ascultaţi!” 6 Când(F) au auzit, ucenicii au căzut cu feţele la pământ şi s-au înspăimântat foarte tare. 7 Dar Isus S-a apropiat, S-a(G) atins de ei şi le-a zis: „Sculaţi-vă, nu vă temeţi!” 8 Ei au ridicat ochii şi n-au văzut pe nimeni, decât pe Isus singur. 9 Pe când coborau din munte, Isus(H) le-a dat porunca următoare: „Să nu spuneţi nimănui de vedenia aceasta până va învia Fiul omului din morţi”. 10 Ucenicii I-au pus întrebarea următoare: „Oare(I) de ce zic cărturarii că întâi trebuie să vină Ilie?” 11 Drept răspuns, Isus le-a zis: „Este adevărat că trebuie să vină întâi Ilie şi să aşeze(J) din nou toate lucrurile. 12 Dar(K) vă spun că Ilie a şi venit, şi ei nu l-au cunoscut, ci au(L) făcut cu el ce au vrut. Tot aşa are să sufere şi(M) Fiul omului din partea lor.” 13 Ucenicii au înţeles atunci(N) că le vorbise despre Ioan Botezătorul.
Vindecarea unui lunatic
14 Când(O) au ajuns la norod, a venit un om care a căzut în genunchi înaintea lui Isus şi I-a zis: 15 „Doamne, ai milă de fiul meu, căci este lunatic şi pătimeşte rău: de multe ori cade în foc şi de multe ori cade în apă. 16 L-am adus la ucenicii Tăi şi n-au putut să-l vindece.” 17 „O, neam necredincios şi pornit la rău!” a răspuns Isus. „Până când voi fi cu voi? Până când vă voi suferi? Aduceţi-l aici la Mine.” 18 Isus a certat dracul, care a ieşit din el. Şi băiatul s-a tămăduit chiar în ceasul acela. 19 Atunci, ucenicii au venit la Isus şi I-au zis deoparte: „Noi de ce n-am putut să-l scoatem?” 20 „Din pricina puţinei voastre credinţe”, le-a zis Isus. „Adevărat vă spun că, dacă(P) aţi avea credinţă cât un grăunte de muştar, aţi zice muntelui acestuia: ‘Mută-te de aici colo’, şi s-ar muta; nimic nu v-ar fi cu neputinţă. 21 Dar acest soi de draci nu iese afară decât cu rugăciune şi cu post.”
Isus vesteşte moartea şi învierea Sa
22 Pe(Q) când stăteau în Galileea, Isus le-a zis: „Fiul omului trebuie să fie dat în mâinile oamenilor. 23 Ei Îl vor omorî, dar a treia zi va învia.” Ucenicii s-au întristat foarte mult.
Isus plăteşte darea pentru Templu
24 Când au ajuns(R) în Capernaum, cei ce strângeau darea pentru Templu[a] au venit la Petru şi i-au zis: „Învăţătorul vostru nu plăteşte darea?” 25 „Ba da”, a zis Petru. Şi când a intrat în casă, Isus i-a luat-o înainte şi i-a zis: „Ce crezi, Simone? Împăraţii pământului de la cine iau dări sau biruri? De la fiii lor sau de la străini?” 26 Petru I-a răspuns: „De la străini”. Şi Isus i-a zis: „Aşadar, fiii sunt scutiţi. 27 Dar, ca să nu-i facem să păcătuiască, du-te la mare, aruncă undiţa şi trage afară peştele care va veni întâi. Deschide-i gura şi vei găsi în ea un ban[b] pe care ia-l şi dă-li-l lor, pentru Mine şi pentru tine.”

17 六天后，耶稣带着彼得、雅各和雅各的兄弟约翰暗暗地登上一座高山。 2 耶稣在他们面前改变了形象，面貌如太阳一样发光，衣服洁白如光。 3 忽然，摩西和以利亚一起出现，跟耶稣谈话。 4 彼得对耶稣说：“主啊，我们在这里好极了。如果你愿意，我就在这里搭三座帐篷，一座给你，一座给摩西，一座给以利亚。”
5 他正在说话的时候，一朵灿烂的云彩笼罩他们。云中传出声音：“这是我的爱子，我甚喜悦祂，你们要听从祂。”
6 门徒听见这声音，便俯伏在地，非常惧怕。 7 耶稣就过来摸他们，说：“起来吧，别害怕。” 8 他们抬起头来，看见只剩下耶稣一个人。
9 下山时，耶稣叮嘱他们：“人子还没有从死里复活以前，不要把刚才看见的告诉别人。”
10 门徒问耶稣：“律法教师为什么说以利亚必须先来？”
11 耶稣回答说：“以利亚的确要来，他将复兴一切。 12 但我告诉你们，以利亚已经来了，人们却不认识他，甚至还任意对待他。人子同样也会在他们手下受苦。” 13 门徒这才明白耶稣所说的是指施洗者约翰。
治好被鬼附身的孩子
14 他们回到山下众人聚集的地方。有一个人过来跪在耶稣跟前，说： 15 “主啊！救救我的儿子吧！他患了癫痫症，痛苦极了，曾经几次跌进火中，掉进水里。 16 我带他去见你的门徒，但他们却不能治好他。”
17 耶稣说：“唉！这世代又不信又败坏的人啊，我要跟你们在一起待多久？我要容忍你们多久呢？把他带来吧。” 18 耶稣斥责附在孩子身上的鬼，鬼就离开了那孩子，从此他就好了。
19 事后，门徒私下问耶稣：“我们为什么赶不走那鬼呢？”
20 耶稣说：“你们的信心太小了。我实在告诉你们，你们若有像芥菜种那样大的信心，就算叫这座山从这里移到那里，它也会移开，你们将没有办不到的事。 21 至于这一类的鬼，你们必须祷告和禁食才能把它赶走。”
耶稣第二次预言受害和复活
22 他们聚集在加利利的时候，耶稣对他们说：“人子将要被出卖，交在人手里。 23 他们将杀害祂，第三天祂将复活。”门徒听了，十分忧愁。
从鱼口得税钱
24 他们来到迦百农，有几个收圣殿税的来问彼得：“你们的老师不纳圣殿税吗？”
25 彼得说“纳！”他进了屋，还没开口，耶稣便问他：“西门，你有何看法？世上的君王向谁征收赋税？向自己的儿子呢，还是向外人呢？”
26 彼得答道：“向外人。”
耶稣说：“所以儿子不用纳税。 27 但为了避免得罪这些人，你就去湖边钓鱼，把钓上来的第一条鱼的嘴打开，里面有一个钱币，拿它去缴你我的税好了。”

The Transfiguration(A)(B)
17 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John(C) the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
4 Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.(D) Listen to him!”(E)
6 When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. 7 But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.”(F) 8 When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.
9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don’t tell anyone(G) what you have seen, until the Son of Man(H) has been raised from the dead.”(I)
10 The disciples asked him, “Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?”
11 Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things.(J) 12 But I tell you, Elijah has already come,(K) and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished.(L) In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer(M) at their hands.” 13 Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.(N)
Jesus Heals a Demon-Possessed Boy(O)
14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures(P) and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
17 “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” 18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith(Q) as small as a mustard seed,(R) you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.(S) Nothing will be impossible for you.” [21] [a]
Jesus Predicts His Death a Second Time
22 When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, “The Son of Man(T) is going to be delivered into the hands of men. 23 They will kill him,(U) and on the third day(V) he will be raised to life.”(W) And the disciples were filled with grief.
The Temple Tax
24 After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax(X) came to Peter and asked, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?”
25 “Yes, he does,” he replied.
When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. “What do you think, Simon?” he asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes(Y)—from their own children or from others?”
26 “From others,” Peter answered.
“Then the children are exempt,” Jesus said to him. 27 “But so that we may not cause offense,(Z) go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.”
