¹¹ For the grace of God has ^(A)appeared, ^[a](B)bringing salvation to all people, ^12 [b]instructing us to deny ungodliness and ^(C)worldly desires and ^(D)to live sensibly, righteously, and in a godly manner ^(E)in the present age,

^9 [a]This was ^(A)the true Light ^[b]that, coming into the world, enlightens every person.

¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that ^(A)the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for ^(B)their deeds were evil.

^48 (A)The one who rejects Me and does not ^[a]accept My ^[b]teachings has one who judges him: ^(B)the word which I spoke. That will judge him on ^(C)the last day.

²⁰ Behold, I stand ^(A)at the door and ^(B)knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, ^(C)I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

⁸ And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment: ⁹ regarding sin, ^(A)because they do not believe in Me;
