그리스도는 다윗의 자손인가, 다윗의 주이신가?
(마 22:41-46; 눅 20:41-44)
35 예수께서 성전에서 다시 가르치시면서 백성들에게 말씀하셨다. “어찌하여 율법 선생들은 그리스도가 다윗[a]의 자손이라고만 하느냐? 36 성령의 도움으로 다윗 자신이 이렇게 말하였다.
‘주께서 나의 주께 말씀하셨다.
내 오른쪽에 앉아라.
그러면 내가 너의 적들을
네 발 아래 무릎 꿇게 하겠다.’(A)
37 다윗 자신이 그리스도를 ‘주’ 라고 불렀다. 그러니 그리스도가 그저 다윗의 자손이기만 하겠느냐?” 많은 사람이 예수의 말씀을 듣고 기뻐하였다.

35 While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts,(C) he asked, “Why do the teachers of the law say that the Messiah is the son of David?(D) 36 David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit,(E) declared:
37 David himself calls him ‘Lord.’ How then can he be his son?”
The large crowd(G) listened to him with delight.
