20 Ujutro je Isus s učenicima prolazio pokraj smokvinog drveta, a oni su vidjeli da se drvo osušilo do korijena. 21 Tada se Petar sjetio i rekao Isusu: »Učitelju, pogledaj! Smokva, koju si prokleo, osušila se.«
22 Isus im je rekao: »Imajte Božju vjeru! 23 Govorim vam istinu. Ako tko bez sumnje u srcu kaže ovoj planini: ‘Podigni se i baci se u more’ i vjeruje da će se dogoditi ono što je rekao—Bog će mu to i učiniti. 24 Zato vam kažem: što god zatražite u svojoj molitvi, vjerujte da ste već dobili i bit će vaše.

New International Version
20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi,(A) look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.(B) 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.(C)
