29 Ісус та всі учні Його залишили синагогу й попрямували до оселі Симона і Андрія. Яків й Іоан пішли разом з ними. 30 Симонова теща лежала в лихоманці, тож люди розповіли про неї Ісусу. 31 Ісус підійшов до неї, взяв її за руку й допоміг підвестися. Лихоманка залишила жінку й вона почала прислуговувати їм.
32 Коли настав вечір, після заходу сонця, до Нього привели багатьох хворих і одержимих нечистим. 33 Усе місто зібралося під дверима. 34 Багатьох недужих на різні хвороби Він зцілив, і з багатьох вигнав демонів. Та говорити тим нечистим духам Ісус не дозволяв, бо вони знали, хто Він такий[a].

Jesus Heals Many
29 (A)And immediately he[a] (B)left the synagogue and entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 Now (C)Simon's mother-in-law lay ill with a fever, and immediately they told him about her. 31 And he came and (D)took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her, and she began to serve them.
32 That evening at sundown they brought to him all who were sick or (E)oppressed by demons. 33 And the whole city was gathered together at the door. 34 (F)And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And (G)he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.
