Mark 9:42-50
New American Standard Bible
42 “(A)Whoever causes one of these [a]little ones who believe in Me to [b]sin, it is better for him if a heavy millstone is hung around his neck and he [c]is thrown into the sea. 43 And (B)if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed, than, having your two hands, to go into [d](C)hell, into the (D)unquenchable fire.[e] 45 And if your foot is causing you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life without a foot, than, having your two feet, to be thrown into [f](E)hell.[g] 47 And (F)if your eye is causing you to sin, throw it away; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than, having two eyes, to be thrown into [h](G)hell, 48 (H)where their worm does not die, and (I)the fire is not extinguished. 49 For everyone will be salted with fire. 50 Salt is good; but (J)if the salt becomes unsalty, with what will you [i]make it salty again? (K)Have salt in yourselves, and (L)be at peace with one another.”

New King James Version
Jesus Warns of Offenses(A)
42 (B)“But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me [a]to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. 43 (C)If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life [b]maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to [c]hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 44 [d]where
(D)‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’
45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into [e]hell, [f]into the fire that shall never be quenched— 46 where
(E)‘Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched.’
47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into [g]hell fire— 48 where
Tasteless Salt Is Worthless
49 “For everyone will be (H)seasoned with fire, (I)and[h] every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. 50 (J)Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? (K)Have salt in yourselves, and (L)have peace with one another.”
