⁵ Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah”—

³ And ^(A)there shall be no more curse, ^(B)but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His ^(C)servants shall serve Him. ^4 (D)They shall see His face, and ^(E)His name shall be on their foreheads.

^23 [a]For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a ^(A)desire to depart and be with Christ, which is ^(B)far better.

^21 (A)He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and ^[a]manifest Myself to him.”

^22 (B)Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”

²³ Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, ^(C)and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

⁸ Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”

⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? ^(A)He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

⁷ greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’

¹⁷ So the Lord said to Moses, ^(A)“I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.”

¹⁸ And he said, “Please, show me ^(B)Your glory.”

¹⁹ Then He said, “I will make all My ^(C)goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. ^(D)I will be gracious to whom I will be ^(E)gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” ²⁰ But He said, “You cannot see My face; for ^(F)no man shall see Me, and live.” ²¹ And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. ²² So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you ^(G)in the cleft of the rock, and will ^(H)cover you with My hand while I pass by. ²³ Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall ^(I)not be seen.”
