³⁶ He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms,^(A) he said to them,

¹⁶ And he took the children in his arms,^(A) placed his hands on them and blessed them.

¹⁴ Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs^(A) to such as these.”^{(B) 15} When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.

² He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
