¹⁹ “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”

¹¹ The Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt?^(A) How long will they refuse to believe in me,^(B) in spite of all the signs^(C) I have performed among them?

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”^(A)

¹⁴ Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.^(A)

²⁷ “How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of these grumbling Israelites.^(A)

¹² See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.^(D)

²⁵ He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken!

⁴¹ “You unbelieving and perverse generation,”^(A) Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you and put up with you? Bring your son here.”
