⁷ A few small fish were found, too, so Jesus also blessed these and told the disciples to distribute them.

¹⁹ Then he told the people to sit down on the grass. Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave the bread to the disciples, who distributed it to the people.

⁸ The others stayed with the boat and pulled the loaded net to the shore, for they were only about a hundred yards^[a] from shore. ⁹ When they got there, they found breakfast waiting for them—fish cooking over a charcoal fire, and some bread.

⁵ He called out, “Fellows,^[a] have you caught any fish?”

“No,” they replied.

⁴¹ Still they stood there in disbelief, filled with joy and wonder. Then he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?” ⁴² They gave him a piece of broiled fish,

⁴¹ “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye^[a] when you have a log in your own?
