⁶ So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and they set them before the multitude.

¹⁷ And ^(A)whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

¹⁰ Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. ¹¹ And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them ^[a]to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.

³⁵ So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. ³⁶ And ^(A)He took the seven loaves and the fish and ^(B)gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude.

¹⁸ He said, “Bring them here to Me.” ¹⁹ Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, ^(A)He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes.

³⁰ But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for the food ^(A)over which I give thanks?

^31 (B)Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

⁶ He who ^(A)observes the day, observes it to the Lord; ^[a]and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for ^(B)he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.

²³ however, other boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks—

⁵ His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”

³⁰ Now it came to pass, as ^(A)He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.
