³⁵Porque el que quiera salvar su vida, la perderá; pero el que pierda la vida por causa mía y por aceptar el evangelio, la salvará.

³⁵For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

³⁵For whoever wants to save their life^[a] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.^(A)

Mark 8:35 The Greek word means either life or soul; also in verses 36 and 37.

Mark 8:35 The same Greek word can mean either soul or life, depending on the context; twice in this verse and once in verse 36 and once in verse 37
