Jesus Predicts His Death

²¹ Jesus warned his disciples not to tell anyone who he was.

²⁰ Then he sternly warned the disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah.

⁹ As they went back down the mountain, he told them not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man^[a] had risen from the dead.

²⁶ Jesus sent him away, saying, “Don’t go back into the village on your way home.”

³⁶ Jesus told the crowd not to tell anyone, but the more he told them not to, the more they spread the news.

⁴ Then Jesus said to him, “Don’t tell anyone about this. Instead, go to the priest and let him examine you. Take along the offering required in the law of Moses for those who have been healed of leprosy.^[a] This will be a public testimony that you have been cleansed.”
