Jesus Heals a Blind Man

²² When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and they begged him to touch the man and heal him.

²¹ “What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse.

Jesus Walks on Water

⁴⁵ Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and head across the lake to Bethsaida, while he sent the people home.

²¹ paid a visit to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee. They said, “Sir, we want to meet Jesus.”

⁴⁴ Philip was from Bethsaida, Andrew and Peter’s hometown.

³ four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat.

¹⁵ But when Jesus touched her hand, the fever left her. Then she got up and prepared a meal for him.

²⁹ Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.”

³ Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.
