³⁷ They were astounded beyond measure, saying, “He has done everything well; he even makes the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

⁵¹ Then he got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. And they were utterly astounded,^(A)

⁴² And immediately the girl stood up and began to walk about (she was twelve years of age). At this they were overcome with amazement.

⁴¹ And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

¹⁰ But Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor even now that you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”^{(A) 11} Then the Lord said to him, “Who gives speech to mortals? Who makes them mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?^(B)

¹² And he stood up and immediately took the mat and went out before all of them, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”^(A)

³¹ God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.^(A)

¹¹ When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they shouted in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in human form!”^(A)

⁴¹ And we indeed have been condemned justly, for we are getting what we deserve for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong.”^(A)
