⁵ Then will the eyes of the blind be opened^(A)
    and the ears of the deaf^(B) unstopped.
⁶ Then will the lame^(C) leap like a deer,^(D)
    and the mute tongue^(E) shout for joy.^(F)
Water will gush forth in the wilderness
    and streams^(G) in the desert.

³ Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed,^(A)
    and the ears^(B) of those who hear will listen.
⁴ The fearful heart will know and understand,^(C)
    and the stammering tongue^(D) will be fluent and clear.
