¹⁸ So He said to them, ^(A)“Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him,

¹¹ of whom ^(A)we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become ^(B)dull of hearing.

¹⁶ So Jesus said, ^(A)“Are you also still without understanding? ¹⁷ Do you not yet understand that ^(B)whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?

²⁵ Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

¹¹ How is it you do not understand that I did not speak to you concerning bread?—but to beware of the ^[a]leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

² I fed you with ^(A)milk and not with solid food; ^(B)for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things?
