(A)[a]And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth two and two, and gave them power over unclean spirits,

[b]And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only: neither scrip, neither bread, neither money in their girdles:

But that they should be shod with (B)[c]sandals, and that they should not put on [d]two coats,

10 And he said unto them, Wheresoever ye shall enter into an house, [e]there abide till ye depart thence.

11 (C)[f]And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, (D)shake off the dust that is under your feet, for a witness unto them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be easier for Sodom, or Gomorrah at the day of Judgment, than for that city.

12 ¶ And they went out, and preached, that men should amend their lives.

13 And they cast out many devils: and they (E)[g]anointed many that were sick, with oil, and healed them.
