⁵⁵ ran through that whole surrounding region, and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard He was.

²⁴ Then ^[a]His fame went throughout all Syria; and they ^(A)brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

A Great Multitude Follows Jesus^(A)

⁷ But Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea. And a great multitude from Galilee followed Him, ^(B)and from Judea ⁸ and Jerusalem and Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and those from Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they heard how ^(C)many things He was doing, came to Him. ⁹ So He told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him because of the multitude, lest they should crush Him. ¹⁰ For He healed ^(D)many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to ^(E)touch Him. ^11 (F)And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Him, fell down before Him and cried out, saying, ^(G)“You are the Son of God.”

Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralytic^(A)

2 And again ^(B)He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. ^2 [a]Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. ³ Then they came to Him, bringing a ^(C)paralytic who was carried by four men.
