⁵¹ Then he got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. And they were utterly astounded,^(A)

³⁹ And waking up, he rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Be silent! Be still!” Then the wind ceased, and there was a dead calm.

²¹ Then they wanted to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the land toward which they were going.

²⁴ They went to him and woke him up, shouting, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And waking up, he rebuked the wind and the raging waves; they ceased, and there was a calm.^{(A) 25} Then he said to them, “Where is your faith?” They were terrified and amazed and said to one another, “Who then is this, that he commands even the winds and the water and they obey him?”

³⁷ They were astounded beyond measure, saying, “He has done everything well; he even makes the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

³² And they went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves.^(A)

⁴² And immediately the girl stood up and began to walk about (she was twelve years of age). At this they were overcome with amazement.

⁴¹ And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

¹² And he stood up and immediately took the mat and went out before all of them, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”^(A)
