⁵¹ Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ^(A)ceased. And they were greatly ^(B)amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled.

³⁹ Then He arose and ^(A)rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ^(B)“Peace,^[a] be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

²¹ Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.

²⁴ And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!”

Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. ²⁵ But He said to them, ^(A)“Where is your faith?”

And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, ^(B)“Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

³⁷ And they were ^(A)astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He ^(B)makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

^32 (A)So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.

⁴² Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were ^(A)overcome with great amazement.

⁴¹ And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

¹² Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and ^(A)glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”
