⁴² Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were ^(A)overcome with great amazement.

¹⁰ Then they knew that it was he who ^(A)sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Preaching in Solomon’s Portico

¹¹ Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch ^(B)which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed. ¹² So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? ^13 (C)The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, ^(D)glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you ^(E)delivered up and ^(F)denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.

³⁷ And they were ^(A)astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He ^(B)makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”

⁵¹ Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ^(A)ceased. And they were greatly ^(B)amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled.

⁴¹ And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

²⁷ Then they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, ^[a]“What is this? What new ^[b]doctrine is this? For with authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”
