²³ and implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and ^(A)lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.”

¹³ And he ^(A)laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she ^(B)glorified God.

⁴⁰ Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him, and ^(A)he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them.

^18 (A)they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; ^(B)they will lay their hands ^(C)on the sick, and they will recover.”

⁸ It happened that the father of Publius lay sick with fever and dysentery. And Paul visited him and ^(A)prayed, and ^(B)putting his hands on him, healed him.

¹⁴ Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, ^(A)anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. ¹⁵ And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And ^(B)if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Jesus Heals Many

^38 (A)And he arose and left the synagogue and entered Simon's house. Now ^(B)Simon's mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they appealed to him on her behalf.

²¹ And Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. ²² And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But ^(A)if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

²³ And ^(A)he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when ^(B)he had ^(C)spit on his eyes and ^(D)laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?”

³² And they brought to him ^(A)a man who was deaf and ^(B)had a speech impediment, and they begged him to ^(C)lay his hand on him.
