² And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an ^(A)unclean spirit,

²³ Now there was a man in their synagogue with an ^(A)unclean spirit. And he cried out,

⁸ For He said to him, ^(A)“Come out of the man, unclean spirit!”

⁴² And as he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the child, and gave him back to his father.

²⁷ And when He stepped out on the land, there met Him a certain man from the city who had demons ^[a]for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house but in the tombs.

²⁵ For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and ^(A)fell at His feet.

The Parable of the Sower^(A)

4 And ^(B)again He began to teach by the sea. And a great multitude was gathered to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat in it on the sea; and the whole multitude was on the land facing the sea.

³⁰ because they ^(A)said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
