¹⁸ And when He got into the boat, ^(A)he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.

³⁸ Now ^(A)the man from whom the demons had departed begged Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, ³⁹ “Return to your own house, and tell what great things God has done for you.” And he went his way and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.

^23 [a]For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a ^(A)desire to depart and be with Christ, which is ^(B)far better. ²⁴ Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.

¹⁷ Then ^(A)they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.

⁴² Then he said ^[a]to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

⁴³ And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in ^(A)Paradise.”

⁷ And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I ^(A)implore^[a] You by God that You do not torment me.”

¹⁵ And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice ^(A)glorified God, ¹⁶ and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a ^(B)Samaritan.

¹⁷ So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
