⁴⁰ He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”^(A)

²⁵ “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples.

In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”

²⁶ He replied, “You of little faith,^(A) why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.^(B)

⁸ Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith,^(A) why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?

³¹ Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,”^(A) he said, “why did you doubt?”

³⁰ If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?^(A)

¹⁹ When they had rowed about three or four miles,^[a] they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water;^(A) and they were frightened. ²⁰ But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.”^(B)
