³⁴ He did not say anything to them without using a parable.^(A) But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything.

¹⁰ He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you,^(A) but to others I speak in parables, so that,

²³ Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. ²⁴ For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”^(A)
