²⁶ And He said, ^(A)“The kingdom of God is as if a man should ^[a]scatter seed on the ground,

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares

²⁴ Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field;

^6 (A)I planted, ^(B)Apollos watered, ^(C)but God gave the increase. ⁷ So then ^(D)neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. ⁸ Now he who plants and he who waters are one, ^(E)and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

⁹ For ^(F)we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are ^(G)God’s building.

The Parable of the Sower Explained^(A)

^11 (B)“Now the parable is this: The seed is the ^(C)word of God.

^23 (A)having been born again, not of ^[a]corruptible seed but ^[b]incorruptible, ^(B)through the word of God which lives and abides ^[c]forever, ²⁴ because

^(E)Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

^18 (A)Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

⁵ “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it.

²⁴ Most assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much ^[a]grain.

^36 (A)And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that ^(B)both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. ³⁷ For in this the saying is true: ^(C)‘One sows and another reaps.’ ³⁸ I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; ^(D)others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”
