治好手枯的人(A)
3 耶穌又進了會堂，在那裡有一個人，他的一隻手枯乾了。 2 眾人窺探他會不會在安息日醫治那個人，好去控告他。 3 耶穌對那一隻手枯乾了的人說：“起來，站在當中！” 4 又對他們說：“在安息日哪一樣是可以作的呢：作好事還是壞事？救命還是害命？”他們一聲不響。 5 耶穌怒目環視他們，因他們的心剛硬而難過，就對那人說：“伸出手來！”他把手一伸，手就復原了。 6 法利賽人出來，立刻和希律黨人商量怎樣對付耶穌，好除掉他。
許多人到海邊找耶穌(B)
7 耶穌和門徒退到海邊去，一大群從加利利來的人跟著他； 8 還有許多人聽見他所作的一切事，就從猶太、耶路撒冷、以土邁、約旦河外和推羅、西頓一帶地方來到他跟前。 9 因為人多，耶穌就吩咐門徒為他預備一隻小船，免得眾人擁擠他。 10 他醫好了許多人，所以凡有病的都擠過來要摸他。 11 污靈每次看到他，就仆倒在他面前，大聲喊叫說：“你是 神的兒子！” 12 耶穌再三嚴厲地吩咐他們，不要把他的身分張揚出去。
選立十二使徒(C)
13 耶穌上了山，呼召自己所要的人，他們就來了。 14 他選立了十二個人，稱他們為使徒（有些抄本無“稱他們為使徒”一句），要他們跟自己常在一起，好差遣他們去傳道， 15 又有權柄趕鬼。 16 他選立的十二個人是：西門（耶穌給他起名叫彼得）， 17 西庇太的兒子雅各，和雅各的弟弟約翰（耶穌給他們二人起名叫半尼其，就是“雷子”的意思）， 18 安得烈、腓力、巴多羅邁、馬太、多馬、亞勒腓的兒子雅各、達太、激進派的西門， 19 以及加略人猶大，就是出賣耶穌的那個人。
褻瀆聖靈的罪不得赦免(D)
20 耶穌進了屋子，群眾又聚了來，以致他們連飯都不能吃， 21 那些和他在一起的人聽見了，就出來抓住他，因為他們說他癲狂了。
22 從耶路撒冷下來的經學家說：“他有別西卜附在身上！”又說：“他靠著鬼王趕鬼。” 23 耶穌把他們叫來，用比喻對他們說：“撒但怎能趕逐撒但呢？ 24 一國若自相紛爭，那國就站立不住； 25 一家若自相紛爭，那家就站立不住。 26 如果撒但自相攻打紛爭，不但站立不住，而且還要滅亡。 27 誰都不能進入壯漢的家，搶奪他的財物，除非先把壯漢捆綁起來，才可以搶劫他的家。 28 我實在告訴你們，世人的一切罪和一切褻瀆的話，都可以得到赦免； 29 但褻瀆聖靈的，就永世不得赦免，他還要擔當罪惡到永遠。” 30 耶穌說這話，是因為他們說他有污靈附在身上。
誰是耶穌的母親和弟兄(E)
31 耶穌的母親和弟弟來了，站在外面，傳話給他，叫他出來。 32 有許多人正圍坐在耶穌身邊，他們告訴他：“你看，你的母親和弟弟（有些抄本在此有“妹妹”一詞）在外面找你。” 33 耶穌回答他們：“誰是我的母親，我的弟兄呢？” 34 於是四面觀看那些圍坐的人，說：“你們看，我的母親！我的弟兄！ 35 凡遵行 神旨意的，就是我的弟兄姊妹和母親了。”

Jesus Heals on the Sabbath
3 Another time Jesus went into the synagogue,(A) and a man with a shriveled hand was there. 2 Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely(B) to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath.(C) 3 Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Stand up in front of everyone.”
4 Then Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent.
5 He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. 6 Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians(D) how they might kill Jesus.(E)
Crowds Follow Jesus(F)
7 Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed.(G) 8 When they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon.(H) 9 Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. 10 For he had healed many,(I) so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.(J) 11 Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.”(K) 12 But he gave them strict orders not to tell others about him.(L)
Jesus Appoints the Twelve(M)
13 Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.(N) 14 He appointed twelve[a](O) that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach 15 and to have authority to drive out demons.(P) 16 These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter),(Q) 17 James son of Zebedee and his brother John (to them he gave the name Boanerges, which means “sons of thunder”), 18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot 19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
Jesus Accused by His Family and by Teachers of the Law(R)(S)
20 Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered,(T) so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat.(U) 21 When his family[b] heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.”(V)
22 And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem(W) said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul!(X) By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”(Y)
23 So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables:(Z) “How can Satan(AA) drive out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. 27 In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.(AB) 28 Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”(AC)
30 He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.”
31 Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived.(AD) Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. 32 A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, “Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.”
33 “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked.
34 Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! 35 Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”

3 At siya'y (A)muling pumasok (B)sa sinagoga; at doo'y may isang lalake na tuyo ang kaniyang kamay.
2 At siya'y inaabangan nila kung pagagalingin siya sa araw ng sabbath; upang siya'y maisakdal nila.
3 At sinabi sa lalaking tuyo ang kamay, Magtindig ka.
4 At sinabi niya sa kanila, Katuwiran baga ang gumawa ng magaling sa araw ng sabbath, o ang gumawa ng masama? magligtas ng isang buhay, o pumatay? Datapuwa't sila'y hindi nagsiimik.
5 At nang siya'y lumingap sa kanila sa palibotlibot na may galit, sapagka't ikinalungkot niya ang katigasan ng kanilang puso, ay sinabi niya sa lalake, Iunat mo ang iyong kamay. At iniunat niya: at gumaling ang kaniyang kamay.
6 At nagsilabas ang mga Fariseo, at pagdaka'y nakipagsanggunian sa (C)mga Herodiano laban sa kaniya, kung paanong siya'y maipapupuksa nila.
7 (D)At si Jesus na kasama ng kaniyang mga alagad ay lumigpit sa dagat: at nagsisunod sa kaniya ang (E)lubhang karamihang taong mula sa Galilea; at mula sa Judea,
8 At mula sa Jerusalem, at mula sa (F)Idumea, at mula sa dakong ibayo ng Jordan, at sa palibotlibot ng (G)Tiro, at Sidon, na lubhang maraming tao, nang mabalitaan ang lubhang mga dakilang bagay na kaniyang ginagawa, ay nagsiparoon sa kaniya.
9 At sinabi niya sa kaniyang mga alagad, na ihanda sa kaniya ang isang maliit na daong dahil sa karamihan, baka siya'y kanilang siksikin:
10 Sapagka't siya'y nakapagpagaling sa marami; ano pa't sinisiksik siya ng lahat ng mga nasasalot upang siya'y mahipo nila.
11 At ang mga karumaldumal na espiritu, pagkakita sa kaniya, ay nangagpatirapa sa kaniyang harapan, at nangagsisisigaw, na nangagsasabi, Ikaw ang Anak ng Dios.
12 At ipinagbilin niya sa kanilang mahigpit (H)na siya'y huwag nilang ihayag.
13 At siya'y umahon sa bundok, (I)at tinawag niya ang balang kaniyang maibigan: at nagsilapit sila sa kaniya.
14 At naghalal siya ng labingdalawa, upang sila'y makisama sa kaniya, at upang sila'y suguin niyang magsipangaral,
15 At magkaroon ng kapamahalaang magpalayas ng mga demonio:
16 At (J)si Simon ay kaniyang pinamagatang Pedro;
17 At si Santiago na anak ni Zebedeo, at si Juan na kapatid ni Santiago; at sila'y pinamagatan niyang (K)Boanerges, na sa makatuwid baga'y mga Anak ng kulog:
18 At si Andres, at si Felipe, at si Bartolome, at si Mateo, at si Tomas, at si Santiago, na anak ni Alfeo, at si Tadeo, at si Simon ang Cananeo,
19 At si Judas Iscariote, na siya ring nagkanulo sa kaniya. At pumasok siya sa isang bahay.
20 At muling nagkatipon ang karamihan, (L)ano pa't sila'y hindi man lamang makakain ng tinapay.
21 At nang mabalitaan yaon (M)ng kaniyang mga kaibigan, ay nagsilabas sila upang siya'y hulihin: (N)sapagka't kanilang sinabi, Sira ang kaniyang bait.
22 At sinabi ng mga eskriba na nagsibaba mula sa Jerusalem, (O)Nasa kaniya si Beelzebub, at, Sa pamamagitan ng prinsipe ng mga demonio ay nagpapalabas siya ng mga demonio.
23 At sila'y kaniyang pinalapit sa kaniya, at sinabi (P)sa kanila sa mga talinghaga, Paanong mapalalabas ni Satanas si Satanas?
24 At kung ang isang kaharian ay magkabahabahagi laban sa kaniyang sarili, hindi mangyayaring makapanatili ang kaharian yaon.
25 At kung ang isang bahay ay magkabahabahagi laban sa kaniyang sarili, ay hindi mangyayaring makapanatili ang bahay na yaon.
26 At kung manghihimagsik si Satanas laban sa kaniyang sarili, at magkabahabahagi, hindi siya makapanananatili, kundi magkakaroon ng isang wakas.
27 Datapuwa't walang makapapasok sa bahay ng malakas na tao, at samsamin ang kaniyang mga pagaari, malibang gapusin muna niya ang malakas na tao; at kung magkagayo'y masasamsaman ang kaniyang bahay.
28 (Q)Katotohanang sinasabi ko sa inyo, Ipatatawad ang lahat ng kanilang mga kasalanan sa mga anak ng mga tao, at ang mga kapusungan nila kailan ma't sila'y mangagsasalita ng kapusungan:
29 Datapuwa't sinomang magsalita ng kapusungan laban sa Espiritu Santo ay walang kapatawaran magpakailan man, kundi may kasalanan ng isang kasalanang walang hanggan:
30 Sapagka't sinabi nila, Siya'y may isang karumaldumal na espiritu.
31 At (R)dumating nga ang kaniyang ina at ang (S)kaniyang mga kapatid; at, palibhasa'y nangakatayo sila sa labas, ay nangagpasugo sila sa kaniya, na siya'y tinatawag.
32 At nangakaupo ang isang karamihan sa palibot niya; at sinabi nila sa kaniya, Narito, nangasa labas ang iyong ina at ang iyong mga kapatid na hinahanap ka.
33 At sinagot niya sila, at sinabi, Sino ang aking ina at aking mga kapatid?
34 At paglingap niya sa nangakaupo sa palibot niya, ay sinabi niya, Narito, ang aking ina at aking mga kapatid!
35 Sapagka't sinomang gumaganap ng kalooban ng Dios, ito'y ang aking kapatid na lalake, at aking kapatid na babae, at ina.
