^7 (A)Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea, and ^(B)a great crowd followed, from Galilee and Judea

Jesus Ministers to a Great Multitude

¹⁷ And ^(A)he came down with them and stood on a level place, with ^(B)a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of ^(C)Tyre and Sidon,

^25 (A)And great crowds followed him from Galilee and the ^(B)Decapolis, and from Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan.

God's Chosen Servant

¹⁵ Jesus, aware of this, ^(A)withdrew from there. And ^(B)many followed him, and he healed them all

⁵³ So from that day on they ^(A)made plans to put him to death.

⁵⁴ Jesus therefore ^(B)no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and there he stayed with the disciples.

⁵ But they were urgent, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, ^(A)from Galilee even to this place.”

The Twelve Apostles

¹² In these days ^(A)he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God.

^39 (A)And ^(B)he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons.

²³ When they ^(A)persecute you in one town, ^(B)flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel ^(C)before the Son of Man comes.

³² and out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its pasturelands, ^(A)the city of refuge for the manslayer, Hammoth-dor with its pasturelands, and Kartan with its pasturelands—three cities.
