³³ He replied, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” ³⁴ Looking at those seated in a circle around him, he said, “See! Here are my mother and my brothers! ³⁵ Whoever does what God wants is my brother, sister and mother!”

⁴⁸ But to the one who had informed him he replied, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” ⁴⁹ Pointing to his talmidim, he said, “Look! Here are my mother and my brothers! ⁵⁰ Whoever does what my Father in heaven wants, that person is my brother and sister and mother.”

²¹ But he gave them this answer: “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s message and act on it!”
