²⁴ Now as he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, ^(A)you are beside yourself! Much learning is driving you mad!”

Jesus’ Mother and Brothers Send for Him^(A)

^31 (B)Then His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him.

¹³ For ^(A)if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you.

^3 (A)His brothers therefore said to Him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may see the works that You are doing. ⁴ For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known openly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world.” ⁵ For ^(B)even His ^(C)brothers did not believe in Him.

⁶ Then Jesus said to them, ^(D)“My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. ^7 (E)The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me ^(F)because I testify of it that its works are evil. ⁸ You go up to this feast. I am not ^[a]yet going up to this feast, ^(G)for My time has not yet fully come.” ⁹ When He had said these things to them, He remained in Galilee.

¹⁰ But when His brothers had gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.

¹¹ Then Jehu came out to the servants of his master, and one said to him, “Is all well? Why did ^(A)this madman come to you?”

And he said to them, “You know the man and his babble.”
