¹⁶ These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter),^(A)

¹⁴ Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew,

⁴² And he brought him to Jesus.

Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called^(A) Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter^[a]).^(B)
