18 they will pick up snakes(A) with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on(B) sick people, and they will get well.”

19 After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven(C) and he sat at the right hand of God.(D) 20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs(E) that accompanied it.

Jesus is Taken Up to Heaven(A)

19 So the Lord Jesus,[b] after talking with his disciples,[c] was taken up to heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 Then his disciples[d] went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the signs that accompanied it.
