16 1 Of Christ’s resurrection. 9 He appeareth to Mary Magdalene and others. 15 He sendeth his Apostles to preach. 19 His ascension.
1 And (A)when the Sabbath day was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Salome, bought sweet ointments, that they might come and anoint him.
2 Therefore early in the morning, the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher, when the Sun was now risen.
3 And they said one to another, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
4 And when they [a]looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away (for it was a very great one)
5 (B)So they went into the [b]sepulcher, and saw a young man sitting at the right side, clothed in a long white robe: and they were sore troubled.
6 But he said unto them, Be not so troubled: ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which hath been crucified: he is risen, he is not here: behold the place where they put him.
7 But go your way, and tell his disciples, and Peter, that he will go before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, (C)as he said unto you.
8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulcher: for they trembled, and were amazed: neither said they anything to any man: for they were afraid.
9 ¶ [c]And when Jesus was risen again, early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, (D)out of whom he had cast seven devils:
10 And she went and told them that had been with him, which mourned and wept.
11 And when they heard that he was alive, and had appeared to her, they believed it not.
12 ¶ (E)[d]After that, he appeared unto two of them in another form, as they walked and went into the country.
13 And they went and told it to the remnant, neither believed they them.
14 ¶ (F)[e]Finally, he appeared unto the eleven as they sat together, and reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him, being risen up again.
15 [f]And he said unto them, (G)Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to [g]every creature.
16 He that shall believe and be baptized, shall be saved: (H)but he that will not believe, shall be damned.
17 And these tokens shall follow them that believe, (I)In my Name they shall cast out devils, and (J)shall speak with [h]new tongues,
18 (K)And shall take away serpents, and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: (L)they shall lay their hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 (M)[i]So after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received into heaven, and sat at the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere. And the (N)Lord wrought with them, and confirmed [j]the word with signs that followed. Amen.

16 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

16 (A)Pasado el día de reposo, María Magdalena(B), María, la madre de Jacobo[a], y Salomé, compraron especias aromáticas(C) para ir a ungirle. 2 Y muy de mañana, el primer día de la semana, llegaron* al sepulcro cuando el sol ya había salido. 3 Y se decían unas a otras: ¿Quién nos removerá la piedra de la entrada del sepulcro(D)? 4 Cuando levantaron los ojos, vieron* que la piedra, aunque[b] era sumamente grande, había sido removida. 5 Y entrando en el sepulcro, vieron a un joven sentado al lado derecho, vestido con ropaje blanco(E); y ellas se asustaron(F). 6 Pero él les dijo*: No os asustéis(G); buscáis a Jesús nazareno(H), el crucificado. Ha resucitado, no está aquí; mirad el lugar donde le pusieron(I). 7 Pero id, decid a sus discípulos y a Pedro: «Él va delante de vosotros a Galilea(J); allí le veréis, tal como os dijo». 8 Y saliendo ellas, huyeron del sepulcro, porque un gran temblor y espanto se había apoderado de ellas; y no dijeron nada a nadie porque tenían miedo.
Aparición de Jesús a María Magdalena
9 [c]Y después de haber resucitado, muy temprano el primer día de la semana, Jesús se apareció primero a María Magdalena(K), de la que había echado fuera siete demonios. 10 Y ella fue y se lo comunicó a los que habían estado con Él(L), que estaban lamentándose y llorando. 11 Cuando ellos oyeron que Él estaba vivo y que ella le había visto, se negaron a creerlo(M).
Aparición a dos discípulos
12 Después de esto, se apareció(N) en forma distinta a dos de ellos cuando iban de camino al campo(O). 13 Y estos fueron y se lo comunicaron a los demás, pero a ellos tampoco les creyeron(P).
La gran comisión
14 Después se apareció(Q) a los once mismos(R) cuando estaban sentados[d] a la mesa, y los reprendió por su incredulidad y dureza de corazón, porque no habían creído a los que le habían visto resucitado(S). 15 Y les dijo: Id por todo el mundo y predicad el evangelio a toda criatura[e](T). 16 El que crea y sea bautizado será salvo; pero el que no crea será condenado(U). 17 Y estas señales[f] acompañarán a los que han creído: en mi nombre echarán fuera demonios(V), hablarán en nuevas lenguas(W); 18 tomarán serpientes(X) en las manos, y aunque beban algo mortífero, no les hará daño; sobre los enfermos pondrán las manos, y se pondrán bien(Y).
Ascensión de Jesucristo
19 Entonces, el Señor Jesús, después de hablar con ellos(Z), fue recibido en el cielo(AA) y se sentó a la diestra de Dios(AB). 20 Y ellos salieron y predicaron por todas partes, colaborando el Señor con ellos, y confirmando la palabra por medio de las señales[g] que la seguían[h]. Ellas comunicaron inmediatamente a Pedro y a sus compañeros todas estas instrucciones. Y después de esto, Jesús mismo envió por medio de ellos, desde el oriente hasta el occidente, el mensaje sacrosanto e incorruptible de la salvación eterna.[i]
