Mark 14:70-72
New International Version
70 Again he denied it.(A)
After a little while, those standing near said to Peter, “Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean.”(B)
71 He began to call down curses, and he swore to them, “I don’t know this man you’re talking about.”(C)
72 Immediately the rooster crowed the second time.[a] Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows twice[b] you will disown me three times.”(D) And he broke down and wept.

And Peter remembered the word, how Jesus said to him that “Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three-times”. And having put his mind upon[c] it, he was weeping.
