⁶⁰ And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”^[a]

^9 (A)He entered his headquarters again and said to Jesus, ^(B)“Where are you from?” But ^(C)Jesus gave him no answer. ¹⁰ So Pilate said to him, “You will not speak to me? Do you not know that I have authority to release you and authority to crucify you?”

³ And the chief priests accused him of many things. ⁴ And Pilate again asked him, ^(A)“Have you no answer to make? See how many charges they bring against you.” ⁵ But Jesus ^(B)made no further answer, so that Pilate was amazed.

⁶² And the high priest stood up and said, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”^{[a] 63 (A)}But Jesus remained silent. ^(B)And the high priest said to him, ^(C)“I adjure you by ^(D)the living God, ^(E)tell us if you are ^(F)the Christ, ^(G)the Son of God.”
