19 They began to be distressed and to say to him, one by one, “Surely it is not I?” 20 He said to them, “One of the Twelve, the one who dips with me into the dish. 21 For the Son of Man indeed goes, as it is written of him,[a] but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed. It would be better for that man if he had never been born.”
