17 ¶ And at even he came with the twelve.
18 (A)[a]And as they sat at table and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me, which eateth with me.
19 Then they began to be sorrowful and to say to him one by one, Is it I? And another, Is it I?
20 And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve that [b]dippeth with me in the platter.
21 Truly the Son of man goeth his way, as it is written of him: (B)but woe be to that man, by whom the Son of man is betrayed: it had been good for that man, if he had never been born.
