Mark 13:33-37

33 Take ye heed, watch [a]and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34 It is as when a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his [b]servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch. 35 Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning; 36 lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

33 “Take heed, (A)keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time [a]will come. 34 (B)It is like a man away on a journey, who upon leaving his house and [b]putting his slaves in charge, assigning to each one his task, also commanded the doorkeeper to stay on the alert. 35 Therefore, (C)be on the alert—for you do not know when the [c]master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, or (D)when the rooster crows, or (E)in the morning— 36 in case he should come suddenly and find you (F)asleep. 37 What I say to you I say to all, ‘(G)Be on the alert!’”
