^33 (A)Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.

Put on Christ

¹¹ And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time ^(A)to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. ¹² The night is far spent, the day is at hand. ^(B)Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and ^(C)let us put on the armor of light.

^40 (A)Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

^15 (A)“Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, ^(B)lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

^13 (A)“Watch therefore, for you ^(B)know neither the day nor the hour ^[a]in which the Son of Man is coming.

Serving for God’s Glory

⁷ But ^(A)the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

⁵ You are all ^(A)sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. ^6 (B)Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but ^(C)let us watch and be ^[a]sober. ⁷ For ^(D)those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk ^(E)are drunk at night. ⁸ But let us who are of the day be sober, ^(F)putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
