No One Knows the Day or Hour
32 “Now concerning that day(A) or hour no one knows—neither the angels(B) in heaven nor the Son(C)—except the Father.(D) 33 Watch! Be alert![a] For you don’t know when the time(E) is coming.(F) 34 It is like(G) a man on a journey, who left his house, gave authority to his slaves,(H) gave each one his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to be alert.

32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.(A) 33 Be on guard! Be alert[a]!(B) You do not know when that time will come. 34 It’s like a man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants(C) in charge, each with their assigned task, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.
