28 “The fig tree teaches us a lesson: When its branches become green and soft, and new leaves begin to grow, then you know that summer is near. 29 So also when you see all these things happening, then you will know that the time is near, ready to come.

27 ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ପୃଥିବୀର ଗ୍ଭରି ଆଡ଼କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇବେ। ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବଛା ଯାଇଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଆଣି ଏକାଠି କରିବେ।
28 “ଡିମ୍ବିରିଗଛ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଏ। ଯେତେବେଳେ ଡିମ୍ବିରିଗଛର ଡାଳଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଶାଗୁଆ ଓ ନରମ ପଡ଼ିଯାଏ ଏବଂ ନୂଆ ପତ୍ର କଅଁଳିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣି ପାର ଯେ ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମଋତୁ ପାଖେଇ ଗଲାଣି। 29 ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯାହା କହିଲି, ଠିକ୍ ତାହା ଏହିପରି ଘଟିବ। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଏହିଭଳି ସବୁ ଘଟିବାର ଦେଖିବ, ସେତେବେଳେ ବୁଝ ଯେ, ‘ସେହି ସମୟ’[a] ନିକଟରେ ଆସି ପହଞ୍ଚିଗଲାଣି।
