¹¹ And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, ^(A)do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say ^(B)whatever is given you in that hour, ^(C)for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.

¹⁴ Settle it therefore in your minds ^(A)not to meditate beforehand how to answer, ¹⁵ for ^(B)I will give you a mouth and ^(C)wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or ^(D)contradict.

^11 (A)And when they ^(B)bring you before the synagogues and ^(C)the rulers and ^(D)the authorities, ^(E)do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, ^12 (F)for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

^19 (A)When ^(B)they deliver you over, ^(C)do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for ^(D)what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. ^20 (E)For it is not you who speak, but ^(F)the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. ^21 (G)Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death,

¹⁰ But ^(A)they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking.

¹³ And we impart this ^(A)in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, ^(B)interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.^[a]

^12 (A)It was revealed to them that ^(B)they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you ^(C)by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, ^(D)things into which angels long to look.

^5 (A)If any of you lacks wisdom, ^(B)let him ask God, ^(C)who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

¹⁹ and ^(A)also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth ^(B)boldly to proclaim ^(C)the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which I ^(D)am an ambassador ^(E)in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
