¹⁰ The gospel [that is, the good news regarding the way of salvation] must first be preached to all the [Gentile] nations.^(A)

¹⁵ And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

¹⁴ This good news of the kingdom [the gospel] will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end [of the age] will come.

⁴⁵ Then He opened their minds to [help them] understand the Scriptures, ⁴⁶ and said, “And so it is written, that the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) would suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,^{(A) 47} and that repentance [necessary] for forgiveness of sins would be preached in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

⁹ And they sang a new song [of glorious redemption], saying,

The Angel with the Gospel

⁶ Then I saw another angel flying in midheaven, with an ^[a]eternal gospel to preach to the inhabitants of the earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people;^(A)

Gentiles Hear Good News

³⁴ Opening his mouth, Peter said:

“Most certainly I understand now that God is not one to show partiality [to people as though Gentiles were excluded from God’s blessing], ³⁵ but in every nation the person who fears God and does what is right [by seeking Him] is acceptable and welcomed by Him.

³ This [kind of praying] is good and acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, ⁴ who ^[a]wishes all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge and recognition of the [divine] truth.

¹⁶ “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] ^[a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

⁵ It is through Him that we have received grace and [our] apostleship to promote obedience to the faith and make disciples for His name’s sake among all the Gentiles,
