12 Yeshua began speaking to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a pit for the wine press and built a tower; then he rented it to tenant-farmers and left. 2 When harvest-time came, he sent a servant to the tenants to collect his share of the crop from the vineyard. 3 But they took him, beat him up and sent him away empty-handed. 4 So he sent another servant; this one they punched in the head and insulted. 5 He sent another one, and him they killed; and so with many others — some they beat up, others they killed. 6 He had still one person left, a son whom he loved; in the end, he sent him to them, saying, ‘My son they will respect.’ 7 But the tenants said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours!’ 8 So they seized him, killed him and threw him out of the vineyard. 9 What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come, destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others! 10 Haven’t you read the passage in the Tanakh that says,
‘The very rock which the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone!
11 This has come from Adonai,
and in our eyes it is amazing’?”[a]
12 They set about to arrest him, for they recognized that he had told the parable with reference to themselves. But they were afraid of the crowd, so they left him and went away.
13 Next they sent some P’rushim and some members of Herod’s party to him in order to trap him with a sh’eilah. 14 They came and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you tell the truth and are not concerned with what people think about you, since you pay no attention to a person’s status but really teach what God’s way is. Does Torah say that taxes are to be paid to the Roman Emperor, or not?” 15 But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why are you trying to trap me? Bring me a denarius so I can look at it.” 16 They brought one; and he asked them, “Whose name and picture are these?” “The Emperor’s,” they replied. 17 Yeshua said, “Give the Emperor what belongs to the Emperor. And give to God what belongs to God!” And they were amazed at him.
18 Then some Tz’dukim came to him. They are the ones who say there is no such thing as resurrection, so they put to him a sh’eilah: 19 “Rabbi, Moshe wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife but no child, his brother must take the wife and have children to preserve the man’s family line.[b] 20 There were seven brothers. The first one took a wife, and when he died, he left no children. 21 Then the second one took her and died without leaving children, and the third likewise, 22 and none of the seven left children. Last of all, the woman also died. 23 In the Resurrection, whose wife will she be? For all seven had her as wife.”
24 Yeshua said to them, “Isn’t this the reason that you go astray? because you are ignorant both of the Tanakh and of the power of God? 25 For when people rise from the dead, neither men nor women marry — they are like angels in heaven. 26 And as for the dead being raised, haven’t you read in the book of Moshe, in the passage about the bush, how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Avraham, the God of Yitz’chak and the God of Ya‘akov’?[c] 27 He is God not of the dead, but of the living! You are going far astray!”
28 One of the Torah-teachers came up and heard them engaged in this discussion. Seeing that Yeshua answered them well, he asked him, “Which is the most important mitzvah of them all?” 29 Yeshua answered, “The most important is,
‘Sh’ma Yisra’el, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, O Isra’el, the Lord our God, the Lord is one], 30 and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding and with all your strength.’[d]
31 The second is this:
‘You are to love your neighbor as yourself.’[e]
There is no other mitzvah greater than these.” 32 The Torah-teacher said to him, “Well said, Rabbi; you speak the truth when you say that he is one, and that there is no other besides him; 33 and that loving him with all one’s heart, understanding and strength, and loving one’s neighbor as oneself, mean more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.” 34 When Yeshua saw that he responded sensibly, he said to him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” And after that, no one dared put to him another sh’eilah.
35 As Yeshua was teaching in the Temple, he asked, “How is it that the Torah-teachers say the Messiah is the Son of David? 36 David himself, inspired by the Ruach HaKodesh, said,
‘Adonai said to my Lord,
“Sit here at my right hand
until I put your enemies under your feet.” ’[f]
37 David himself calls him ‘Lord’; so how is he his son?”
The great crowd listened eagerly to him. 38 As he taught them, he said, “Watch out for the kind of Torah-teachers who like to walk around in robes and be greeted deferentially in the marketplaces, 39 who like to have the best seats in the synagogues and take the places of honor at banquets, 40 who like to swallow up widows’ houses while making a show of davvening at great length. Their punishment will be all the worse!”
41 Then Yeshua sat down opposite the Temple treasury and watched the crowd as they put money into the offering-boxes. Many rich people put in large sums, 42 but a poor widow came and put in two small coins. 43 He called his talmidim to him and said to them, “Yes! I tell you, this poor widow has put more in the offering-box than all the others making donations. 44 For all of them, out of their wealth, have contributed money they can easily spare; but she, out of her poverty, has given everything she had to live on.”

12 耶稣又用比喻对他们说:“有一个人栽种了一个葡萄园,四面围上篱笆,挖了一个压酒池,盖了一座瞭望台,然后租给佃户,就远行去了。 2 到了时候,园主派了一个仆人到佃户那里,向佃户收取葡萄园一部分的果子。 3 佃户抓住他,打了他,放他空手回去。 4 园主再派另外一个仆人到他们那里,他们打伤了他的头,并且侮辱他。 5 园主又派另一个去,他们就把他杀了。后来又派去许多仆人,有的给他们打了,有的给他们杀了。 6 还有一个,就是园主的爱子,最后园主派他到那里去,说:‘他们必尊敬我的儿子。’ 7 那些佃户却彼此说:‘这是继承产业的;来,我们杀了他,产业就是我们的了。’ 8 于是抓住他,把他杀了,扔在葡萄园外。 9 这样,葡萄园的主人要怎么办呢?他要来除掉那些佃户,把葡萄园租给别人。 10 你们没有念过这段圣经吗:

人复活后不娶不嫁(C)
18 撒都该人向来认为没有复活的事,他们来到耶稣那里,问他: 19 “老师,摩西曾写给我们说:‘如果一个人死了,留下妻子,没有儿女,他的弟弟就应当娶他的妻子,为哥哥立后。’ 20 从前有兄弟七人,头一个娶了妻子,死了,没有留下孩子; 21 第二个娶了她,也没有留下孩子,就死了;第三个也是这样。 22 那七个人都没有留下孩子,最后那女人也死了。 23 到了复活的时候,他们都要复活,她是哪一个的妻子呢?因为七个人都娶过她。” 24 耶稣对他们说:“你们错了,不正是因为你们不明白圣经,也不晓得 神的能力吗? 25 因为人从死里复活以后,也不娶,也不嫁,而是像天上的天使一样。 26 关于死人复活的事,摩西的经卷中荆棘篇上, 神怎样对他说:‘我是亚伯拉罕的 神,以撒的 神,雅各的 神’,你们没有念过吗? 27 他不是死人的 神,而是活人的 神。你们是大错特错了!”
最重要的诫命(D)

你坐在我的右边,

The Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers(A)
12 Then (B)He began to speak to them in parables: “A man planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a place for the wine vat and built a tower. And he leased it to [a]vinedressers and went into a far country. 2 Now at vintage-time he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that he might receive some of the fruit of the vineyard from the vinedressers. 3 And they took him and beat him and sent him away empty-handed. 4 Again he sent them another servant, [b]and at him they threw stones, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated. 5 And again he sent another, and him they killed; and many others, (C)beating some and killing some. 6 Therefore still having one son, his beloved, he also sent him to them last, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 7 But those [c]vinedressers said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ 8 So they took him and (D)killed him and cast him out of the vineyard.

The Pharisees: Is It Lawful to Pay Taxes to Caesar?(G)
13 (H)Then they sent to Him some of the Pharisees and the Herodians, to catch Him in His words. 14 When they had come, they said to Him, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and [d]care about no one; for You do not [e]regard the person of men, but teach the (I)way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? 15 Shall we pay, or shall we not pay?”
But He, knowing their (J)hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test Me? Bring Me a denarius that I may see it.” 16 So they brought it.
And He said to them, “Whose image and inscription is this?” They said to Him, “Caesar’s.”
17 And Jesus answered and said to them, [f]“Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to (K)God the things that are God’s.”
And they marveled at Him.
The Sadducees: What About the Resurrection?(L)
18 (M)Then some Sadducees, (N)who say there is no resurrection, came to Him; and they asked Him, saying: 19 “Teacher, (O)Moses wrote to us that if a man’s brother dies, and leaves his wife behind, and leaves no children, his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother. 20 Now there were seven brothers. The first took a wife; and dying, he left no offspring. 21 And the second took her, and he died; nor did he leave any offspring. And the third likewise. 22 So the seven had her and left no offspring. Last of all the woman died also. 23 Therefore, in the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be? For all seven had her as wife.”
24 Jesus answered and said to them, “Are you not therefore [g]mistaken, because you do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God? 25 For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but (P)are like angels in heaven. 26 But concerning the dead, that they (Q)rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, (R)‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. The Scribes: Which Is the First Commandment of All?(S)
28 (T)Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, [i]perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the [j]first commandment of all?”
29 Jesus answered him, “The [k]first of all the commandments is: (U)‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall (V)love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ [l]This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: (W)‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than (X)these.”
32 So the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, (Y)and there is no other but He. 33 And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, [m]with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, (Z)is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
34 Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.”

Jesus: How Can David Call His Descendant Lord?(AB)
35 (AC)Then Jesus answered and said, while He taught in the temple, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the Son of David? 36 For David himself said (AD)by the Holy Spirit:

“Sit at My right hand,

Beware of the Scribes(AG)
38 Then (AH)He said to them in His teaching, (AI)“Beware of the scribes, who desire to go around in long robes, (AJ)love greetings in the marketplaces, 39 the (AK)best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts, 40 (AL)who devour widows’ houses, and [n]for a pretense make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”

2 Au temps de la récolte, il envoya un serviteur vers les vignerons, pour recevoir d'eux une part du produit de la vigne.
3 S'étant saisis de lui, ils le battirent, et le renvoyèrent à vide.
4 Il envoya de nouveau vers eux un autre serviteur; ils le frappèrent à la tête, et l'outragèrent.
5 Il en envoya un troisième, qu'ils tuèrent; puis plusieurs autres, qu'ils battirent ou tuèrent.
6 Il avait encore un fils bien-aimé; il l'envoya vers eux le dernier, en disant: Ils auront du respect pour mon fils.
7 Mais ces vignerons dirent entre eux: Voici l'héritier; venez, tuons-le, et l'héritage sera à nous.
8 Et ils se saisirent de lui, le tuèrent, et le jetèrent hors de la vigne.

13 Ils envoyèrent auprès de Jésus quelques-uns des pharisiens et des hérodiens, afin de le surprendre par ses propres paroles.
14 Et ils vinrent lui dire: Maître, nous savons que tu es vrai, et que tu ne t'inquiètes de personne; car tu ne regardes pas à l'apparence des hommes, et tu enseignes la voie de Dieu selon la vérité. Est-il permis, ou non, de payer le tribut à César? Devons-nous payer, ou ne pas payer?
15 Jésus, connaissant leur hypocrisie, leur répondit: Pourquoi me tentez-vous? Apportez-moi un denier, afin que je le voie.
16 Ils en apportèrent un; et Jésus leur demanda: De qui sont cette effigie et cette inscription? De César, lui répondirent-ils.
17 Alors il leur dit: Rendez à César ce qui est à César, et à Dieu ce qui est à Dieu. Et ils furent à son égard dans l'étonnement.
18 Les sadducéens, qui disent qu'il n'y a point de résurrection, vinrent auprès de Jésus, et lui firent cette question:
19 Maître, voici ce que Moïse nous a prescrit: Si le frère de quelqu'un meurt, et laisse une femme, sans avoir d'enfants, son frère épousera sa veuve, et suscitera une postérité à son frère.
20 Or, il y avait sept frères. Le premier se maria, et mourut sans laisser de postérité.
21 Le second prit la veuve pour femme, et mourut sans laisser de postérité. Il en fut de même du troisième,
22 et aucun des sept ne laissa de postérité. Après eux tous, la femme mourut aussi.
23 A la résurrection, duquel d'entre eux sera-t-elle la femme? Car les sept l'ont eue pour femme.
24 Jésus leur répondit: N'êtes-vous pas dans l'erreur, parce que vous ne comprenez ni les Écritures, ni la puissance de Dieu?
25 Car, à la résurrection des morts, les hommes ne prendront point de femmes, ni les femmes de maris, mais ils seront comme les anges dans les cieux.
26 Pour ce qui est de la résurrection des morts, n'avez-vous pas lu, dans le livre de Moïse, ce que Dieu lui dit, à propos du buisson: Je suis le Dieu d'Abraham, le Dieu d'Isaac, et le Dieu de Jacob?
27 Dieu n'est pas Dieu des morts, mais des vivants. Vous êtes grandement dans l'erreur.
28 Un des scribes, qui les avait entendus discuter, sachant que Jésus avait bien répondu aux sadducéens, s'approcha, et lui demanda: Quel est le premier de tous les commandements?
29 Jésus répondit: Voici le premier: Écoute, Israël, le Seigneur, notre Dieu, est l'unique Seigneur;
30 et: Tu aimeras le Seigneur, ton Dieu, de tout ton coeur, de toute ton âme, de toute ta pensée, et de toute ta force.
31 Voici le second: Tu aimeras ton prochain comme toi-même. Il n'y a pas d'autre commandement plus grand que ceux-là.
32 Le scribe lui dit: Bien, maître; tu as dit avec vérité que Dieu est unique, et qu'il n'y en a point d'autre que lui,
33 et que l'aimer de tout son coeur, de toute sa pensée, de toute son âme et de toute sa force, et aimer son prochain comme soi-même, c'est plus que tous les holocaustes et tous les sacrifices.
34 Jésus, voyant qu'il avait répondu avec intelligence, lui dit: Tu n'es pas loin du royaume de Dieu. Et personne n'osa plus lui proposer des questions.
35 Jésus, continuant à enseigner dans le temple, dit: Comment les scribes disent-ils que le Christ est fils de David?
36 David lui-même, animé par l'Esprit Saint, a dit: Le Seigneur a dit à mon Seigneur: Assieds-toi à ma droite, Jusqu'à ce que je fasse de tes ennemis ton marchepied.
37 David lui-même l'appelle Seigneur; comment donc est-il son fils? Et une grande foule l'écoutait avec plaisir.
38 Il leur disait dans son enseignement: Gardez-vous des scribes, qui aiment à se promener en robes longues, et à être salués dans les places publiques;
39 qui recherchent les premiers sièges dans les synagogues, et les premières places dans les festins;
40 qui dévorent les maisons des veuves, et qui font pour l'apparence de longues prières. Ils seront jugés plus sévèrement.
41 Jésus, s'étant assis vis-à-vis du tronc, regardait comment la foule y mettait de l'argent. Plusieurs riches mettaient beaucoup.
42 Il vint aussi une pauvre veuve, elle y mit deux petites pièces, faisant un quart de sou.
43 Alors Jésus, ayant appelé ses disciples, leur dit: Je vous le dis en vérité, cette pauvre veuve a donné plus qu'aucun de ceux qui ont mis dans le tronc;
44 car tous ont mis de leur superflu, mais elle a mis de son nécessaire, tout ce qu'elle possédait, tout ce qu'elle avait pour vivre.
