29 Jesus answered, “The most important is, (A)‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, (B)the Lord is one.
8 I am the Lord; that is my name; (A)my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.
9 And (A)the Lord will be king over all the earth. (B)On that day the Lord will be (C)one and (D)his name one.
3 (A)And this is eternal life, (B)that they know you, (C)the only (D)true God, and (E)Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
4 Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that (A)“an idol has no real existence,” and that (B)“there is no God but one.”
6 yet (A)for us there is one God, the Father, (B)from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and (C)one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and (D)through whom we exist.
