13 (B)Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for (C)of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, (D)whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will (E)by no means enter it.” 16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.

Little Children Brought to Jesus

13 And they were bringing young children to him so that he could touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 But when[a] Jesus saw it,[b] he was indignant, and said to them, “Let the young children come to me. Do not forbid them, for to such belongs[c] the kingdom of God. 15 Truly I say to you, whoever does not welcome the kingdom of God like a young child will never enter into it.” 16 And after[d] taking them[e] into his arms, he blessed them, placing his[f] hands on them.
