Jesus’ Teaching about Divorce

10 (A)Setting out from there, Jesus *went to the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan; crowds *gathered to Him again, and, (B)as He was accustomed, He once more began to teach them.

2 And some Pharisees came up to Jesus, testing Him, and began questioning Him whether it was lawful for a man to [a]divorce his wife. 3 And He answered and said to them, “What did Moses command you?” 4 They said, “(C)Moses permitted a man to write a [b]certificate of divorce and [c]send his wife away.” 5 But Jesus said to them, “[d](D)Because of your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment. 6 But (E)from the beginning of creation, God (F)created them male and female. 7 (G)For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother[e], 8 (H)and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore, what God has joined together, no person is to separate.”

10 And in the house the disciples again began questioning Him about this. 11 And He *said to them, “(I)Whoever [f]divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her; 12 and (J)if she herself [g]divorces her husband and marries another man, she is committing adultery.”

Jesus Blesses Little Children

13 (K)And they were bringing children to Him so that He would touch them; but the disciples rebuked them. 14 But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, “Allow the children to come to Me; do not [h]forbid them, (L)for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I say to you, (M)whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.” 16 And He (N)took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.

The Rich Young Ruler

17 (O)As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and (P)knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do so that I may (Q)inherit eternal life?” 18 But Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘(R)Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not give false testimony, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” 20 And he said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept (S)all these things from my youth.” 21 Looking at him, Jesus showed love to him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have (T)treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But he [i]was deeply dismayed by [j]these words, and he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property.

23 And Jesus, looking around, *said to His disciples, “(U)How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples (V)were amazed at His words. But Jesus responded again and *said to them, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25 (W)It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 And they were even more astonished, and said to Him, “[k]Then who can be saved?” 27 Looking at them, Jesus *said, “(X)With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”

28 (Y)Peter began to say to Him, “Behold, we have left everything and have followed You.” 29 Jesus said, “Truly I say to you, (Z)there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, 30 [l]but that he will receive a hundred times as much now in [m]the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in (AA)the age to come, eternal life. 31 But (AB)many who are first will be last, and the last, first.”

Jesus’ Sufferings Foretold

32 (AC)Now they were on the road going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was walking on ahead of them; and they (AD)were amazed, and those who followed were fearful. And again He took the twelve aside and began to tell them what was going to happen to Him, 33 saying, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and (AE)the Son of Man will be [n]handed over to the chief priests and the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death and will [o]hand Him over to the Gentiles. 34 And they will mock Him and (AF)spit on Him, and flog Him and kill Him; and three days later He will rise from the dead.”

35 [p](AG)James and John, the two sons of Zebedee, *came up to [q]Jesus, saying to Him, “Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask of You.” 36 And He said to them, “What do you want Me to do for you?” 37 They said to Him, “[r]Grant that we (AH)may sit, one on Your right and one on Your left, in Your glory.” 38 But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able (AI)to drink the cup that I drink, or (AJ)to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?” 39 They said to Him, “We are able.” And Jesus said to them, “The cup that I drink (AK)you shall drink; and you shall be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized. 40 But to sit on My right or on My left is not Mine to give; (AL)but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.”

41 (AM)Hearing this, the other ten began to feel indignant with [s]James and John. 42 Calling them to Himself, Jesus *said to them, “You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles domineer over them; and their [t]people in high position exercise authority over them. 43 But it is not this way among you; (AN)rather, whoever wants to become [u]prominent among you shall be your servant; 44 and whoever wants to be first among you shall be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man (AO)did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His [v]life as a ransom for many.”

Bartimaeus Receives His Sight

46 (AP)Then they *came to Jericho. And later, (AQ)as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a large crowd, a beggar who was blind named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus the (AR)Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, (AS)Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “(AT)Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him here.” So they *called the man who was blind, saying to him, “(AU)Take courage, stand up! He is calling for you.” 50 And throwing off his cloak, he jumped up and came to Jesus. 51 And replying to him, Jesus said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” And the man who was blind said to Him, “[w](AV)Rabboni, I want to regain my sight!” 52 And Jesus said to him, “Go; (AW)your faith has [x]made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.

Jesús en Judea

10 (A)Levantándose de allí, Jesús se fue* a la región de Judea y al otro lado del Jordán; y se reunieron* de nuevo las multitudes junto a Él, y una vez más, como acostumbraba, les enseñaba(B).

Enseñanza de Jesús sobre el divorcio

2 Se acercaron algunos fariseos, y para poner[a] a prueba a Jesús, le preguntaban si era lícito a un hombre divorciarse de[b] su mujer. 3 «¿Qué les mandó Moisés?», les dijo Jesús. 4 Ellos respondieron: «Moisés permitió al hombre escribir carta de divorcio y repudiarla(C)».

5 Entonces Jesús les dijo: «Por la dureza del corazón de ustedes, Moisés les escribió este mandamiento(D). 6 Pero desde el principio de la creación(E), Dios los hizo varón y hembra(F). 7 Por esta razón el hombre dejará a su padre y a su madre[c](G), 8 y los dos serán una sola carne(H); así que ya no son dos, sino una sola carne. 9 Por tanto, lo que Dios ha unido, ningún hombre lo separe».

10 Ya en casa, los discípulos le volvieron a preguntar sobre esto. 11 Y Él les dijo*: «Cualquiera que se divorcie de[d]su mujer y se case con otra, comete adulterio contra ella(I); 12 y si ella se divorcia de[e]su marido(J)y se casa con otro, comete adulterio».

Jesús bendice a los niños

13 (K)Traían niños a Jesús para que Él los tocara, pero los discípulos los reprendieron. 14 Cuando Jesús vio esto, se indignó y les dijo: «Dejen que los niños vengan a Mí; no se lo impidan, porque de los que son como estos[f]es el reino de Dios(L). 15 En verdad les digo, que el que no reciba el reino de Dios como un niño, no entrará en él(M)». 16 Y tomándolos en los brazos(N), los bendecía, poniendo las manos sobre ellos.

El joven rico

17 (O)Cuando Jesús salía para irse, vino un hombre corriendo, y arrodillándose delante de Él(P), le preguntó[g]: «Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para heredar la vida eterna(Q)?». 18 Jesús le respondió: «¿Por qué me llamas bueno? Nadie es bueno, sino solo uno, Dios. 19 Tú sabes los mandamientos: “No mates, no cometas adulterio, no hurtes, no des falso testimonio, no defraudes, honra a tu padre y a tu madre(R)”».

20 «Maestro, todo esto lo he guardado(S) desde mi juventud», dijo el hombre. 21 Jesús, mirándolo, lo amó y le dijo: «Una cosa te falta: ve y vende cuanto tienes y da a los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo(T); entonces vienes y me sigues». 22 Pero él, afligido por estas palabras, se fue triste, porque era dueño de muchos bienes.

Peligro de las riquezas

23 Jesús, mirando en derredor, dijo* a Sus discípulos: «¡Qué difícil será para los que tienen riquezas entrar en el reino de Dios(U)!». 24 Los discípulos se asombraron(V) de Sus palabras. Pero Jesús respondiendo de nuevo, les dijo*: «Hijos, ¡qué difícil es entrar en el reino de Dios[h]! 25 Es más fácil para un camello pasar por el ojo de una[i]aguja, que para un rico entrar en el reino de Dios(W)».

26 Ellos se asombraron aún más, diciendo entre sí[j]: «¿Y quién podrá salvarse?». 27 Mirándolos Jesús, dijo*: «Para los hombres es imposible, pero no para Dios, porque todas las cosas son posibles para Dios(X)». 28 Entonces Pedro comenzó a decir a Jesús: «Nosotros lo hemos dejado todo y te hemos seguido(Y)».

29 Jesús respondió: «En verdad les digo, que no hay nadie que haya dejado casa, o hermanos, o hermanas, o madre, o padre, o hijos o tierras por causa de Mí y por causa del evangelio(Z), 30 que no reciba cien veces más ahora en este tiempo: casas, y hermanos, y hermanas, y madres, e hijos, y tierras junto con persecuciones; y en el siglo venidero(AA), la vida eterna. 31 Pero muchos primeros serán últimos, y los últimos, primeros(AB)».

Jesús anuncia Su muerte por tercera vez

32 (AC)Iban por el camino subiendo a Jerusalén, y Jesús iba delante de ellos. Los discípulos estaban perplejos(AD), y los que lo seguían tenían miedo. Y tomando aparte de nuevo a los doce, comenzó a decirles lo que le iba a suceder: 33 «Ahora subimos a Jerusalén, y el Hijo del Hombre(AE)será entregado a los principales sacerdotes y a los escribas, y lo condenarán a muerte y lo entregarán a los gentiles. 34 Se burlarán de Él y le escupirán(AF), lo azotarán y lo matarán, y tres días después resucitará».

Petición de Jacobo y Juan

35 (AG)Jacobo[k] y Juan, los dos hijos de Zebedeo, se acercaron* a Jesús, diciendo: «Maestro, queremos que hagas por nosotros lo que te pidamos». 36 «¿Qué quieren que haga por ustedes?», les preguntó. 37 Ellos le dijeron: «Concédenos[l] que en Tu gloria(AH) nos sentemos uno a Tu derecha y el otro a Tu izquierda». 38 Jesús les dijo: «Ustedes no saben lo que piden. ¿Pueden beber la copa que Yo bebo(AI), o ser bautizados con el bautismo con que soy bautizado(AJ)?». 39 Le respondieron: «Podemos». Y Jesús les dijo: «La copa que Yo bebo, beberán; y serán bautizados con el bautismo con que Yo soy bautizado(AK); 40 pero el sentarse a Mi derecha o a Mi izquierda, no es Mío el concederlo[m], sino que es para quienes ha sido preparado(AL)».

41 Al oír esto, los diez comenzaron a indignarse contra Jacobo[n] y Juan. 42 (AM)Llamándolos junto a Él, Jesús les dijo*: «Ustedes saben que los que son reconocidos como gobernantes de los gentiles se enseñorean de ellos, y que sus grandes ejercen autoridad sobre ellos. 43 Pero entre ustedes no es así, sino que cualquiera de ustedes que desee llegar a ser grande será su servidor(AN), 44 y cualquiera de ustedes que desee ser el primero será siervo de todos. 45 Porque ni aun el Hijo del Hombre vino para ser servido, sino para servir, y para dar Su vida[o]en rescate por muchos(AO)».

El ciego Bartimeo es sanado

46 (AP)Entonces llegaron* a Jericó. Y cuando Él salía de Jericó con Sus discípulos y una gran multitud, un mendigo ciego llamado Bartimeo, el hijo de Timeo, estaba sentado junto al camino(AQ). 47 Cuando oyó que era Jesús el Nazareno(AR), comenzó a gritar y a decir: «¡Jesús, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí(AS)!».

48 Y muchos lo reprendían para que se callara, pero él gritaba mucho más: «¡Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí(AT)!». 49 Jesús se detuvo y dijo: «Llámenlo». Y llamaron* al ciego, diciéndole: «¡Anímate(AU)! Levántate, que te llama». 50 Arrojando su manto, se levantó de un salto y fue a Jesús.

51 Y dirigiéndose a él[p], Jesús le preguntó: «¿Qué deseas que haga por ti?». Y el ciego le respondió: «Raboní[q](AV), que recobre la vista». 52 «Vete, tu fe te ha sanado[r](AW)», le dijo Jesús. Al instante el ciego recobró la vista, y lo seguía por el camino.

　神配合的人不可分開(A)

10 耶穌從那裡動身，來到約旦河東的猶太境內。許多人又聚集到他那裡，他像平常一樣教導他們。 2 有法利賽人前來試探耶穌，問他：“丈夫可以休妻嗎？” 3 耶穌回答：“摩西吩咐你們的是甚麼呢？” 4 他們說：“摩西准許‘人寫了休書就可以休妻’。” 5 耶穌說：“因為你們的心硬，摩西才寫這條例給你們。 6 但從起初創造的時候，　神是‘造男造女’。 7 ‘因此人要離開父母，與妻子連合， 8 二人成為一體了。’這樣，他們不再是兩個人，而是一體的了。 9 所以　神所配合的，人不可分開。” 10 回到屋子裡，門徒再提起這件事來問他。 11 他對他們說：“誰休妻另娶，誰就是犯姦淫，得罪了妻子。 12 如果妻子棄夫另嫁，也是犯了姦淫。”

為小孩子按手祝福(B)

13 有人帶著小孩子到耶穌跟前，要他觸摸他們；門徒卻責備那些人。 14 耶穌看見了就生氣，對門徒說：“讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們，因為　神的國是屬於這樣的人的。 15 我實在告訴你們，凡是不像小孩子一樣接受　神的國的，絕對不能進去。” 16 於是耶穌把小孩子抱起來，為他們按手祝福。

有錢的人難進　神的國(C)

17 耶穌又開始他的行程。那時，有一個人跑過來，跪在他面前，問他說：“良善的老師，我當作甚麼，才可以承受永生？” 18 耶穌對他說：“你為甚麼稱我是良善的？除了　神一位以外，沒有良善的。 19 誡命你是知道的：不可殺人，不可姦淫，不可偷盜，不可作假證供，不可欺詐，當孝敬父母。” 20 他對耶穌說：“老師，這一切我從小都遵守了。” 21 耶穌看著他，就愛他，對他說：“你還缺少一件：去變賣你所有的，分給窮人，就必定有財寶在天上，而且你要來跟從我。” 22 那人聽見這話，就變了臉色，憂憂愁愁地走了，因為他的財產很多。

23 耶穌周圍觀看，對門徒說：“富有的人要進　神的國，是多麼難哪！” 24 門徒都希奇他的話，耶穌又對他們說：“孩子們哪，（有些抄本在此有“倚靠錢財的人”一句）要進　神的國，是多麼困難！ 25 駱駝穿過針眼，比有錢的人進　神的國還容易呢！” 26 門徒就更加驚奇，彼此說：“這樣，誰可以得救呢？” 27 耶穌看著他們，說：“在人不能，在　神卻不然，因為在　神凡事都能。” 28 彼得對他說：“你看，我們已經捨棄了一切，而且來跟從你了。” 29 耶穌說：“我實在告訴你們，人為著我和福音捨棄了房屋、弟兄、姊妹、母親、父親、兒女、田地， 30 沒有不在今生得百倍─就是房屋、弟兄、姊妹、母親、兒女、田地，同時要受迫害─在來世還要得永生。 31 然而許多在前的將要在後，在後的將要在前。”

第三次預言受難及復活(D)

32 在上耶路撒冷的路途中，耶穌走在前面，門徒希奇，跟從的人也害怕。耶穌又把十二門徒帶到一邊，把自己將要遭遇的事告訴他們， 33 說：“我們現在上耶路撒冷去，人子要被交給祭司長和經學家，他們要定他的罪，並且把他交給外族人。 34 他們要凌辱他，向他吐唾沫，鞭打他，殺害他，三天以後，他要復活。”

不是要人服事而是要服事人(E)

35 西庇太的兒子雅各、約翰，來到耶穌跟前，對他說：“老師，我們無論向你求甚麼，願你為我們作成。” 36 耶穌說：“要我為你們作甚麼？” 37 他們說：“在你的榮耀裡，讓我們一個坐在你的右邊，一個坐在你的左邊。” 38 耶穌說：“你們不知道你們求的是甚麼。我喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？我受的洗，你們能受嗎？” 39 他們說：“能。”耶穌說：“我喝的杯，你們固然要喝；我受的洗，你們也要受。 40 只是坐在我的左右，不是我可以賜的，而是　神預備賜給誰，就賜給誰。” 41 其他十個門徒聽見了，就向雅各、約翰生氣。 42 耶穌把他們叫過來，對他們說：“你們知道各國都有被尊為元首的統治他們，也有官長管轄他們。 43 但你們中間卻不要這樣；誰想在你們中間為大的，就要作你們的僕役， 44 誰想在你們中間為首的，就要作大家的奴僕。 45 因為人子來，不是要受人服事，而是要服事人，並且要捨命，作許多人的贖價。”

治好瞎眼的巴底買(F)

46 他們進了耶利哥。耶穌、門徒和一大群人從耶利哥出來的時候，有一個瞎眼的人，是底買的兒子，名叫巴底買，坐在路旁討飯。 47 他聽見是拿撒勒人耶穌，就喊叫，說：“大衛的子孫耶穌啊，可憐我吧！” 48 許多人斥責他，叫他不要出聲；他卻更加放聲喊叫：“大衛的子孫啊，可憐我吧！” 49 耶穌就站住，說：“把他叫過來。”他們就叫那瞎眼的人，對他說：“放心吧，起來，他叫你了。” 50 他就丟下衣服，跳起來，走到耶穌那裡。 51 耶穌對他說：“你要我為你作甚麼呢？”瞎眼的人對他說：“拉波尼，我要能看見。” 52 耶穌說：“去吧，你的信使你痊愈了。”他立刻看見了，就在路上跟隨耶穌。
